Morris Hamilton is one of Louisville Switching's all-star employees! He does a little bit of everything around here and adds a lot of joy and positivity to our team. We will start off with a few things that Barbara Robinson has to say about Morris and then get into his answers to our interview questions.

The Kentucky Trucking Association exists to promote the trucking industry and educate legislators and the general public on truck safety. Louisville Switching is very excited to announce our partnership with Tracking Solutions, an Australia-based company that provides online GPS tracking systems for engines. With these tracking devices called Remote Hour Meters, we are better able to manage the maintenance of our vehicles as well as seamlessly handle billing for customers. Currently, about 60% of our rental fleet at Louisville Switching has an engine tracking device. We will soon increase the percentage as we gradually equip our fleet of Ottawa Yard Trucks in the region.

As many of you know, our guys at Louisville Switching have been making a herculean effort these past few weeks to complete the refurbishment of an old yard truck to be displayed at our open house this coming Thursday, March 24. We recently updated our website with the latest pictures. Check them out here! We are hoping to show business owners that they can save money and get another lifetime out of their yard truck through the process of refurbishment.

We are getting all geared up for our open house on March 24 where we will display our latest Ottawa refurb project! More on the open house next week. We want to walk you through our process so you can see how an old worn-out yard truck can be transformed to look and run like new again. We are getting really excited about the Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) March 31- April 2, 2016. With 70,000 visitors and over 1,000 exhibitors, MATS is the biggest heavy-duty trucking industry annual event in the world. People come from all over the United States and even other countries to see the PKY Truck Beauty competition, participate in a Fleet Forum with the best executives and VIPs of the industry, enjoy a live concert, and attend trucking seminars with something for everyone: companies, fleets, and trucking professionals. Last year, the event attracted people from over 79 countries!
