Kentucky Trucking Association

If you are in the trucking business, the Kentucky Trucking Association has a lot to offer! The Kentucky Trucking Association exists to promote the trucking industry and educate legislators and the general public on truck safety. As a member of the Kentucky Trucking Association, we can personally attest to the value that the association provides for its members. Keep reading to find out the benefits of becoming a member of the Kentucky Trucking Association.

Peace of mind knowing you are in compliance with federal/state/local regulations

Recently at our open house, Melissa Zink, Director of Communications at Kentucky Trucking Association, came out to meet us and represent the association. We asked her what she thought was the biggest benefit of being a member of the association, and she said, "For motor carriers, the biggest benefit is the assurance that they are in compliance with federal, state and local regulations." Some companies are small and do not have the resources to hire someone full time to look into the regulations for the trucking industry. That is where the Kentucky Trucking Association has stepped in to provide vital information and give small business owners peace of mind, knowing that they are meeting industry standards.

Educational and training benefits for members of the Kentucky Trucking Association

Another huge benefit to members of the Kentucky Trucking Association is the educational and training workshops that the association offers. Monthly seminars on Risk & Safety Management help promote safety in the trucking industry throughout the entire state of Kentucky, and members can call and speak directly with staff about any questions they may have concerning regulatory and safety matters. Complimentary webinars are also a big part of the training effort that the association offers its members. With these resources, you can keep your staff up to date on best safety practices as well as mandatory regulations in the industry.

A few other benefits:

  • JJ Keller Discount Program
  • Healthcare & Worker Compensation Programs
  • IRP & Fuel Tax Guidance
  • National Fuel Discount Program
  • New Entrant Audit Preparation
  • Allied Network Discount Programs
  • Shipping Discount Program
  • Networking Opportunities

We hope that if you are in the trucking industry, you will consider becoming a member of the Kentucky Trucking Association. We also want to take this opportunity to thank them for attending our 2016 open house.
