Ottawa Trucks, also commonly (and formally) referred to as Kalmar Ottawa, is a company of many things. It is also a subsidiary of the CargotecCorporation, a Finnish industrial machinery company with almost 11,000 employees worldwide as of 2015. The company that has built a reputation of excellence over the decades wasn't always in such a powerful position, however - it's beginnings are shockingly humble for an organization that has set and reset the standard in trailer moving solutions time and again.

The Ottawa Truck brake system is operated with a foot pedal or (treadle valve). This foot-actuated valve is actually two valves that operate in quick sequence. It is connected in the front and rear brake circuitry so that the rear brakes begin to act before the front brakes when the operator steps on the pedal. When air pressure is correct in both circuits, the second stage is driven via air pressure by the first stage. If air is lost to the first stage, the second stage is driven mechanically by the first stage.

Timing is often the most important thing when it comes to getting your yard truck parts. The quicker you get what you need, the faster you are getting your spotter trucks up and operational again. With the Louisville UPS hub just minutes from our office, we can ship just about any part you need "next day." If you are located within a two-hour distance from Louisville, it is common place for your parts to get to you the next day via UPS ground, so you are able to save even more money.
