Louisville Switching has once again been named as a Kalmar Ottawa Premier Partner Dealer. We were first named a Premier Partner Dealer in 2014 and have been recognized as such 3 times out of the last 4 years.

We are incredibly humbled to be recognized as a Premier Partner dealer along with a few of our peers and are proud to be a part of the larger Kalmar Ottawa family! They continuously lead the industry to new heights and have recently announced a fully electric Kalmar Ottawa terminal tractor.

How Louisville Switching Maintains Premier Partner Dealer Status

The process for being named and maintaining this status is very thorough. Kalmar representatives come in and look at sales objectives for trucks and parts, training initiatives in place for sales and tech employees, facility functionality and maintenance, access to capital, insurance policies, if there's a succession plan in place, and financial stability (to name a few things).

We maintain this status by being consumer-focused. As mentioned on our about page, the two foundations of Louisville Switching are having a thorough knowledge of the logistics industry and maintaining a strong dedication to providing our valued customers with the highest quality of services.

It's an honor to just be recognized once, but to continue achieving this status is a feat. Only top partners are designated year after year, which comes out to be less than 10%. To be recognized in consecutive years means that the bar is set very high and that we always need to improve and grow our goals each year.

Seen above is a picture taken from the presentation of the Premier Partner Award at the dealer meeting celebrating the 60th anniversary of Kalmar Ottawa. Don is holding the award that was presented to him and Chris Troutt who is our General Mgr.  Don is a part of the Kalmar Ottawa Dealer Council and last year he was invited to speak to the entire dealer body from North America.
