This afternoon we wished our dear friend Butch Troutt a farewell, and a "Congrats!" on retirement. Butch has been with Louisville Switching since May of 2010, while working part time as a school bus driver. He started his journey with Louisville Switching as an Inside Sales and Parts Manager.

Butch made many friends along his journey with us and we wish him the best as he begins this new chapter of life.

"I plan to enjoy the next phase of my life with my wife and family, catch up on unfinished projects, and try not to be in a hurry and appreciate life more," said Butch. We think he's in the right frame of mind to begin retirement.

Speaking of family, Butch said his favorite memory has been working with his oldest son for the past five years, here at Louisville Switching. He also enjoyed the family atmosphere of our company, and how everyone supported each other and celebrated big wins.

"The people I have met, both as customers and co-workers, has been a real bonus for me. It is tremendously satisfying to be able to help our customers solve their problems and service their needs," said Butch. "Working at Louisville Switching was a unique opportunity that I have truly enjoyed. The open houses we have had to celebrate our business growth and giving our customers and friends the chance to celebrate with us were also very special."

We pride ourselves on serving our customers and employees with a family-like atmosphere. We are so thankful for Butch's service all these years, and we wish him the best on his new adventures! Congratulations on retirement, Butch!

Final Thoughts from Butch:

"I will always be grateful to Don and Barbara... The last 5 years have flown by, and I appreciate all of the friends I have made during my time here. Wish all the best for everyone at Louisville Switching."
