This week's Ottawa Yard Truck Question is:

Do I need a CDL to drive Ottawa Trucks?

 Chuck says:

  • If you have a DOT model that you that take on public roads then, yes, you do need a CDL.
  • If you have either an off-road or on-road but you are operating on private property, then you do not need a CDL.
  • All Ottawa operators should complete the Ottawa safety training course before operating any Ottawa. Check with your local dealer for more information on training.
