If you notice complications with your yard truck brake system, the pneumatic system of the brake system may be malfunctioning. If air is not properly supplied to the pneumatics of the truck, the air compressor (part #5286968RX) may need to be replaced. The air compressor builds the air for the pneumatic system. This system should maintain air pressure of 100 to 120 psi in order for the air brakes to work properly. This air also supplies the cab air bag, 5th wheel cylinder, trailer valve, and air ride seat. 

As the compressor builds it sends the air through a copper tube and then to the braided air line and then to the air dryer which removes all moisture out of the air from there to the tanks and thought out the system.
