Louisville Switching's Dedication Event Was a Big Success

This past Saturday we invited our employees, friends, and family members to come out to our facility to enjoy some great food and music. The purpose of the gathering was to celebrate our company's growth, and in particular, to dedicate our newly purchased parts and sales building.

God has blessed our business over the years to the point of us outgrowing our current space. That's a good problem to have, and we're thankful every day for the success of the business. A couple weeks ago we announced the purchase of a building next door to our current facility that would enable us to expand our parts and sales departments by moving them next door. This then also offers us the ability to expand our service area and our administrative office area in the original building by expanding into the newly vacated spaces. On Saturday, we dedicated this new space and shared the blessings with employees, retired employees, friends, and family. We wanted to share some of the highlights of the dedication event with you too! Below are some pictures we took during the event.

Our owner Don Robinson took time to go around the room and introduce all the staff, along with retired members of the Louisville Switching Hall of Fame. Don shared funny stories in his witty way. He paused for a moment to turn off his ringing cell phone, only to ask others to please silence their phones. Don wasn't all fun and laughs, as he also shared an emotional story of faith and perseverance, thanking his wife and staff member Barbara for sticking it out during the tough times. God has seen them through the tough times, and now has ushered them into a time of blessings. Don gave thanks by reciting an old methodist hymn.

After the talk, Joel Gerdis from The Content Squad played some praise and worship music, and blessed an amazing BBQ feast. We've never seen so many people asking for recipes. We also took a moment to celebrate Don's birthday, and listened to some more tunes from The Content Squad's Jay Stewart.

A good time was had by all. And, credit was given where credit was due—to Jehovah Jireh, our God who provides.
