Our trip to Insta-Chain in Utah

In one of our recent posts, we mentioned a new dealership opportunity with Insta-Chain. Insta-Chain is based in Springville, Utah, just south of Provo. We have been excited to meet the team at Insta-Chain since we crossed paths at this years Mid America Truck Show. We wanted to see first hand their operations and perform our normal due diligence. We take our dealership partners very seriously. Well the trip solidified everything. Insta-Chain is a true family run business and we met much of their support team while there. We had meetings with the owner and the VP of Sales and Marketing. Along with touring the facilities, we were able to watch the manufacturing of their products. They are truly made in the USA.

Most of our customers realize that we sell and service Ottawa Trucks. They also know they can call us to order parts for those trucks but they don’t always realize we do other things too.
When we say other things we mean: mobile welding, semi-trailer maintenance, Cartage services, or general truck repairs and maintenance.
Many have no idea that we have the ability to buy and sell used vehicles and to do service work onsite with our mobile service trucks.
We are going to use our new blog to highlight lesser known services we’ve added to our quiver over the years.

We’ll be updating the site with our latest inventory in Ottawa Trucks for sale and or lease. When you’re a dealer like Louisville Switching Truck Sales, everything is always for sale or lease, except our staff of course.
We come across Ottawa that are used and in need of repair, lightly used and we can always custom order new trucks for our customers. Whatever the case we’ll showcase them here on our blog with pictures and videos to keep our customers tuned in.
Our upcoming trip to Utah to meet Insta-Chain

At this years Mid America Truck Show we had the opportunity to connect with a business that has solved a problem. They solved the problem we deal with every year when it comes to keeping our trucks moving on ice and snow. This particular winter in Louisville and around the country was quite rough. Our trucks often are a key to logistics for our customers. If they aren’t moving things then things aren’t shipping or being sold. We all know if things aren’t being sold we can all hang our sign on the door and call it a day. So our trucks and service is a big key to keeping things moving.
So knowing of this problem the folks at Insta-Chain in Utah came up with a solution. …..

The Invincible Ottawa

All work and no play made Jack a dull boy- right? We take our customer service very serious at Louisville Switching. Our top of the line trucks, parts and responsive service are the lifeblood of what we do. Along the way though you have to have a little fun though. We believe you can have fun and provide great service/great price while doing so.
When we started the website a few months back I casually asked Bryce Raley or Simplified Solutions LLC about putting together a little image for fun. I asked about the costs and we determined it wasn’t worth spending any money on it. Well we managed to squeeze it into the web budget and we’ll share it soon.

2010 Mid America Truck Show update

We had a last minute chance to participate in the 2010 Mid America Truck Show this past March and we jumped on it. Normally we have a booth each year in partnership with another Ottawa Truck Dealer and with some assistance from our dealer sponsors as well. Well with the state of the economy it appeared that we may have to sit this one out. However, Chris Troutt, our amazing salesman and jack of many trades pulled together a plan, a booth and a last minute show-truck.
