At Louisville Switching Service, we offer a number of services beyond truck sales and part sales to our customers. Our services include, but are not limited to:
- Yard tractor leasing, rental, and sales
- Yard tractor repairs and/or maintenance (can be done in our shop or on site)
- Customized cartage services
- Semi trailer repairs in our shop or at a remote location
- Mobile arc welding services
- Repairs or maintenance for power units from medium to heavy duty
- Robinson Cartage
Robinson Cartage started with Greater Louisville area cartage authority.
Our cartage services have grown to include customized cartage services for our customers. This has been done with the acquisition of additional authorities including Kentucky Intrastate, Indiana Intrastate and 48 state interstate authority.
- Semi trailer Repair
Our customers asked us to start providing trailer repair services. A trailer mechanic was added to our staff in the fall of 1996. We can provide full repair service on trailers in our shop or at a remote location with one of our mobile service vehicles.
- Mobile Welding Services
One of our mobile service vehicles is equipped with a large portable arc welder. We have very experienced welders on staff and can provide most welding services and even some fabrication services.
- Repairs and Maintenance
Our mechanics and support personnel can provide repair or preventive maintenance for your medium to heavy duty equipment in our shop. We also provide preventive maintenance and mobile rep
